Services

Services
This includes clients with difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, social skills, stuttering and using their voice. We work with people who have difficulty communicating because of developmental delays, stroke, brain injuries, learning disability, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy as well as other problems that can affect speech and language. We work collaboratively with clients and their families to build on, and extend, their current communication abilities by providing individualised, targeted and goal centred therapy. Whilst we specialise in children and young people, we can take clients across all other groups on a case-by-case basis.
At Speeches For You we pride ourselves on understanding how individuals with a range of disabilities and developmental delays learn language and process information. This allows us to design and implement functional communication supports, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
We support children and young people with a range of communication difficulties

We provide outreach community therapy for individuals in settings most meaningful to them and their learning. We collaborate with you to plan and deliver direct therapy services where it suits You best, including in the school, childcare, kinder, in the community (park or shops) and recreational settings.
Educational Counselling
Navigating communication challenges are difficult. We understand that and are here to help you. We can provide you with user-friendly resources, dedicated parent debrief/catch up time in every speech session and 1:1 educational counselling sessions. These sessions may include open discussions around life choices relating to your child, i.e. which school or kinder may be appropriate, what recreational settings may benefit them, what supports are available for family members (such as respite services and support networks).

We are also looking to start a parent support group with our families via an online community platform. Watch this space!
