National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

   

Clients should be able to claim back 100% of their NDIS funding if their plan is:

 

• Self managed

• Plan managed

 

While we are not an NDIS registered provider, we are dedicated in supporting any assessment process required within the NDIS guidelines, in order for you:

 

• Register for the NDIS

• Apply for funding

• Apply for supports / resources such as assistive technology

 

If you are a person with disability and you meet the access requirements you can become a participant in the scheme. 

 

MediCare- Chronic Disease Management Plan

 

Medicare rebates under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) may be obtained from your GP or Paediatrician if deemed eligible. You can claim this Medicare Plan prior to your first session in order to claim the rebate. This plan should enable you to access 5 subsidised sessions per calendar year. Medicare should provide a rebate of $52.95 per session. Please note CDMP plans need to be shared across allied health providers. i.e. 5 sessions equals 5 in total across OT, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech Therapy if you’re accessing more than one service at a time.

 

Private Health Insurance 

 

Speechies For You allows you to claim through your private health extras. The rebate will vary depending on your allocated private health provider, and the level of extras you have selected. Please contact your private health provider directly to determine your eligibility.
